Who are we?
The Garden Science Trust helps people develop their skills and potential through gardening and science. We work mainly with people with learning difficulties and other barriers to education and training.
What do we do?
We run courses to help students learn through experimentation, asking questions and practical participation. All courses cover basic horticultural know-how and help to develop independent living skills. We manage a supported volunteering programme and work experience placements at our organic garden site.
Where are we?
We are based at the Ecotech Centre in Swaffham, Norfolk. We have the use of a large plot in the organic garden and our portacabin classroom.
What's New?
We have substantial new funding for the future and are working to develop new services in 2012.
